About Taylor

I am a passionate young adult who loves to learn and wishes to share that same love of learning with others. In high school I was a straight A student, a member of the National Technical Honor Society, as well as a dual credit college student. I pride myself in my work and always strive to do my best. In May of 2016, I graduated with a double Bachelors in Literature and History. In the spring of 2017, I plan to begin working on my Master's degree in History.

I believe in the saying "Practice makes perfect". When teaching others I often use the repetition method, whether it be by doing worksheets or studying note cards. I also do my best to instill strong study habits and good organizational skills in my students. I believe that education is the key to success and my goal is to help every student succeed.

Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Bible Studies

I have led a Bible study through my church for the past two years. I am passionate about this subject and have a heart for sharing and teaching the Bible to others. I have grown up in the church, and feel confidant in my abilities to help others in this area.

Needlework

Over the course of the last 10 years, I have completed a number of counted cross-stitch patterns. I know of several different techniques and knot styles. I love to spend my time working on needlepoint and other crafts.
