##### About Aaron

My name is Aaron, and I specialize in tutoring all varieties of math and physics for students at a college sophomore level or lower. I graduated from Rice with a Master's in Mechanical Engineering in 2015, and I've been tutoring people since freshman year of high school. I started out meeting with friends to help them with tests, but after I graduated from high school, I branched out and started tutoring others in my community during the summer. As a graduate student, I led a review course for the Introduction to Engineering Mechanics course. So far, I have been hired to tutor students between eighth and twelfth grade, and I've received positive feedback from everyone I've tutored. One student, for whom I tutored in pre-algebra, said that he learned more with me in two hours than he did in an entire semester with his teacher. Also, some of my high school friends that I worked with regularly told me that I really helped them make it through their junior and senior year physics classes. My strengths as a tutor are a deep understanding of the subjects I teach, patience, a desire to give the people I tutor a real understanding of their subject.

I am also a very methodical tutor. I start by attempting to identify not only what a person is having trouble with, but also why they are having trouble with it. This allows me to come up with a personalized approach for each person I tutor. Lastly, I come prepared to teach efficiently so that you can get the most out of your sessions with me.

Experience with the subjects I tutor:

In high school, I took 4 years of math and 2 years of physics. In college, I have taken 12 courses related to the fields I tutor in. In both high school and college, I have received an A or A- in every subject that I tutor.

Other relevant scores:

AP Physics B: 5 (out of 5)

AP Calculus AB: 5 (out of 5)
