My name is Gordon. I was born in Royal Oak, Michigan May 31, 1983 and I have spent my whole youth growing up in that state. In 2005 I received a degree in Communications from Michigan State University. After the university I spent two years teaching as a volunteer missionary in France. I recently returned back to the United States in February 2008 and no sooner had decided to move to the Houston area in March 2008.

While at Michigan State University I majored in Communications.

Activities during college included several community service and philanthropic opportunities, intermural sports, and simultaneously working three out of the four years.
Recent Job Experiences:

Front Desk Clerk at Marriott Hotels and Resorts (E. Lansing, MI) 2.5 years
Front Desk Clerk at Walt Disney World - All-Star Resorts (Orlando, FL) 6 months
I hold myself to a high standard of morals and ethics. I believe that family should be at the center of my life. I feel strongly about what good, hard work can bring to some-one's life, including manual labor; and theimportance of doing things the right way and doing them thoroughly. I choose not to smoke nor drink alcohol, and I exercise daily. I enjoy going to the movie theater (even quoting movies), reading books, playing football, playing video games, traveling, speaking French, going shopping, trying new restaurants, cooking, going to church and church activities, and spending time with friends.
Past experiences tutoring students included lessons in learning the bass, French language, English grammar, and mathematics. I believe I have a unique way of relating to people and to also apply subjects in a manner where individuals can more clearly understand them.
I look forward to working with you!!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
