I recently graduated from SMU with my masters in mechanical engineering. I have a solid understanding of math and science from a range of elementary to college level. I currently work for an engineering firm in the surrounding area as a research engineer/scientist. During my college career I was a math tutor and grader for the mathematics department, which allowed me to have a deeper understanding on the simple concepts. In addition, as a research engineer I continue to use these same mathematical concepts throughout my career, which allows me to be fluent in many of these concepts. If you have any questions regarding a topic of interest please do not hesitate to ask.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
