I am highly experienced in tutoring students who want to succeed. I am a retired aerospace and nuclear engineer who primarily desires to pass on knowledge in Math, Calculus and Physics. I use various methods of communicating the principles and processes, finding the most effective means. I use an encouraging approach to create a positive learning atmosphere. The approach is to track closely the classroom curriculum by reviewing and working through homework assignments, assuring that the student fully understands the principles being applied in order to provide a foundation for further learning. Bryan explained the course work in a way that made it very easy to understand. Bryan helped me get a better grasp of statistics and the concepts. He's positive and very patient. I look forward to our next session. For once I feel like I have a more relaxed attitude towards math. Thank you Bryan.
Bryan taught beginning statistics and was very helpful. He was at my home exactly when he said he would be. The class I am taking is on-line and 5 weeks long. Bryan helped me to get through the second week of the class and to understand the homework assignment. I will definitely use Bryan if I have future needs. You will not be disappointed if you are lucky enough to get Bryan as your tutor.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
