National University of Colombia (Spanish Teacher)
Hola, my name is Viviana. I am a native Spanish speaker with pedagogic training and much experience teaching and tutoring with different ages. I am a 30 year old Spanish teacher from Colombia. I attended six years at the National University of Colombia and I received my Bachelor degree in Classic Language and Spanish Education. I worked as a school teacher with elementary and high school students for five years before coming to the United States in 2010. Here, I have taught adults and children to develop skills beginning the Spanish language, as well as tutored intermediate students.
I am able to provide customized and in-person tutoring. We can adjust the lessons to your needs. If you already have some specific topics or skills that you need to work on, or if you want to develop all the skills (writing, reading, listening and speaking in order to have language proficiency for professional, academic , travelling or other purposes), I can definitely adjust an excellent plan so that you can achieve the goals you have.
With my help you will be familiarized with not just the language but the culture too! Spanish is a beautiful and very interesting language that you will understand and be able to express yourself with soon.
I am available to tutor on weekends, and on weekdays in the morning until noon.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
