I am a Texas Certified Secondary Teacher and a qualified Texas Community College Instructor. I am familiar with TI-84+ calculator and with on-line programs for homework submission.

I find that the students who benefit the most are those students with materials at hand and clear goals for their session(s). I expect a student to have notes and examples of the instructor's preferred methods, as applicable. I expect students to work problems during the time I work with them; that is essential for the student's retention. Proactive students have the best success.

Thank you for considering me as a tutor for your math course.

Anita A.

Our 7th grader enjoyed the Algebra tutorial and enjoyed the manner in which Anita conducted her lesson. We would definitely recommend her for anyone who needs extra help in the furture.

Excellent tutor! She is very knowledgeable, patient and very thorough.

We are working on College Algebra (Algebra 2). She explains how to resolve the problem but, also pauses to substantiate how we got the solution by going back a few steps if I need it. As an adult student that has been out of school for over 30yrs, this is much appreciated because there are some things that are not current in my mind.
