Hello, I'm Vikas! I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Houston with a B.S. in Honors Biomedical Sciences. Growing up, math and science were my strongest subjects, and I aspired to continue my learning with a comprehensive undergraduate STEM education. As an undergraduate student, I began tutoring Houston-area students, and I hope to continue this passion for teaching in the DFW area.

I take a very personalized approach to teaching. I really want to understand where each student's learning level is and then utilize the student's own school materials along with my own content/practice problems to create a holistic learning environment. For me, a student's success is when he or she is comfortable and confident with certain subject topics, and they are able to show improvement in their problem-solving abilities and test scores.

I have taken a variety of AP-level math classes in high school as well as college-level calculus, statistics, and linear algebra. I am also well-versed in SAT/ACT math, and achieved high scores on both tests as a high schooler. I am able to teach Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and SAT/ACT Math.
