I have recently moved from New Jersey to Texas and have over 10 years of experience in the education field primarily teaching students in Junior and Senior high schools, and at the Community College level. Currently, I possess New Jersey teaching licenses in both Social Studies and Special Education, and Highly Qualified to teach Social Studies pursuant to current federal mandates. I received an MA in History from NYU and a BA with High Distinction in History from the University of Rochester. Furthermore, I received a MAT in Special Education from New Jersey City University. The combination of postgraduate degrees in both History and Special Education enable me to educate and meet the instructional needs of an entire student body of diversified learners, as well as the professional experiences and skills working with diverse student populations necessary for a position to tutor your student.
I approach the challenge of educating young adults enthusiastically, and I look forward to the opportunity to meet with you to discuss both my background and tutor/teaching opportunities with your student.

For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students.
