Punctual, responsive and the time spent so far seems to be helping. Still too new, but we are pleased so far.
Love her approach, Jordan was excited and could not wait to show me what he learned. He cannot wait for his next lesson.
Our granddaughter is being tutored 4 days per week by Louann. She is always punctual, pleasant, and prepared. She sends our granddaughter home with prepared flash cards and reading reinforcements on a daily basis. Highly recommend.
Very good ESL tutor! Nice lady and very kind to kids. She does her best in tutoring and is always on time.
Ms. Louann was so wonderful with our daughter. Our first grader was struggling with learning to read and with her confidence. Ms. Louann worked very well with her and helped her gain the confidence she needed to keep working hard!
Thanks Ms. Louann!
Ms. O. is a great teacher who helped our son who had difficulty in reading. She worked with him patiently and this increased his fluency and comprehension. I would recommend her to anyone with a child that needs help with reading.
Louann has really brought the confidence out in my son. Before we began using Louann, our son was very unsure of his answers and was having a tough time with his alphabet. We knew this would be a challenge if we didn't get him help before he started kindergarten. My son now quickly raises his hand to answer in class and is super confident in his abilities. I would highly recommend Louann!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Math should be a fun learning experience. I use different manipulatives, interesting worksheets, and iPad apps to help the child understand the different math concepts. Each child needs to have a different method because no two children are alike in their learning style.
I have an ESL certificate from Texas.

I have taught reading to all levels for over 30 years. I love to read and try to instill that love in my students. I give a pre-test to determine strengths and weaknesses and then teach from there. No two plans are the same! I love working with children and helping them feel successful and improving their self esteem!
