Hi! My name is Shubhangi! I graduated Magna Cum Laude with Honors in Biomedical Engineering from University of Arizona. Throughout middle school and high school, I had many classes where I could not grasp the concepts due to the complexity of the subject. When one-on-one help from my teachers translated into my grades increasing, I realized the importance of supporting students in individualized ways. As a tutor, I try to understand my students and their diverse learning styles and needs, and I work towards tailoring my teaching approach towards them. I plan my lessons so that I teach the topic in simple, fun ways, and then I work to develop my students’ understanding of the material through practice. For me, one of the best parts about tutoring has been making a positive impact in not only the academic performance of students, but also their self-confidence.

I have been tutoring students from grade levels ranging from middle school all the way up to the undergraduate level for the past seven years. I have worked with students in different subjects, including Chemistry, Physics, Algebra, Precalculus, Geometry, and Calculus 1 and 2. I have also been a Calculus, Chemistry, and Physics tutor at my university campus's tutoring program THINK TANK for almost two years.

I love spreading my knowledge and am always excited to help students in whatever way possible. I am excited to get to know you and help in any way possible. CANCELLATION POLICY: Please provide me with at least 6-hours notice in the event that you need to cancel. No shows or cancellations with less than 6-hours notice are subject to be charged for the full rate of the lesson. Of course, emergencies do occur and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
