Tutoring is my preferred form of teaching because I can adjust the pace and content to the specific needs of each of my students. As a tutor I have the opportunity to develop a relationship of mentorship, in which I help students surpass their limits with my knowledge of learning science.
As an EFL/ESL teacher, I've taught hundreds of students from all over the world in English grammar and conversation, and taken multiple students to first place prizes in municipal speech contests, and finals in prefectural speech contests in Japan.

I have a bachelor's degree in Japanese and lived in Japan for six years. I've worked with many friends, classmates, and fellow expats to improve their Japanese fluency and get them ready for the JLPT.
