I’ve had five years of experience working as a professional tutor for Tarrant County Community College in the department of mathematics. I have also been certified by the National Tutor Association as an advanced level tutor. In my tenure I have worked and interacted with a variety of students and learning styles. When working with students I find it easy to identify their strengths and weaknesses. This allows the student and me to enhance the student’s strengths while alleviating their weakness and self-doubt. When it comes to helping the student I exercise patience, diligence, and empathy. I am proud or confident in my ability to effectively explain explicit details regarding the subject matter at hand. Simplifying rigorous complex material and illuminating esoteric knowledge is a specialty of mine. I am very adaptive and accommodating to the student’s needs. Listening to the student is equally as important as being able to explain things effectively. I have consistently tutored throughout my undergraduate education, and it wasn’t that long ago that I was a student myself so I understand the students plight.

While pursuing my bachelor's degree in physics I happened to pick up a minor in Mathematics. From Calculus to Fourier Analysis, these classes are essential for my physics degree. In order to succeed in a physics one must have a thorough knowledge in these math courses. And luckily for you I do!

In addition to these courses I have 5 years of tutoring experience, in particular mathematics. Math is tricky. I have seen a variety of students who struggle with. Luckily throughout my years of experience I have seen them all and have developed techniques to help you learn best.

I studied physics at The University of North Texas during my undergrad. While there I had plenty of hands on experience in both experimental and theoretical based physics. I made A's in all my core classes in my field of interest. Such courses include University Physics 1 and 2, Modern Physics, Micro Electronics, Analytical Mechanics 1 and 2, Electricity and Magnetism 1 and 2, Mathematical Methods, Statistical Physics, Thermodynamics, Quantum Mechanics and many more.
