Hi my name is Darci, and I am extremely excited about tutoring Spanish and ESL with Wyzant. I am TEFL certified, and I have recently finished a one-year teaching contract in Heredia, Costa Rica. Additionally, I have experience teaching ESL in both Peru and Guatemala.
Although I don't have any experience teaching Spanish, I have my BA in Spanish/Hispanic studies and have always been passionate about the beautiful language. I truly enjoy meeting new people and helping them achieve their goals so please don't hesitate to contact me so we can get started!
I have a strong background in teaching English as second language. I was TEFL certified with an Internationally Accredited Program in 2012, and since then I have gained almost 2 years of teaching experience in various countries including Peru, Guatemala, and Costa Rica.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
