Background and Teaching Philosophy
I started delving into math in my middle school years after having a great math teacher for a couple of years in a row. Since then, my goal has been learning and teaching math. As a certified teacher at a public school, my primary goals have been teaching math, explaining abstract concepts in Algebra and Calculus in simple terms and fun ways. As many other teachers feel, I do feel great honor and satisfaction when seeing my students truly grasp a concept that they have never taught they could understand that complicated part of math.

I worked at public high schools more than five years as Algebra 1, Algebra 2, SAT, AP Calculus and Computer Science teacher. Besides, I worked at a college math tutoring center for a year when I was pursuing my graduate degree in mathematics. With all these experience, my teaching style has been evolved in fast pace. Every year has been a new learning and growing opportunity for me. Many of my students in AP classes were gifted, but in regular classes I worked with all the different levels of students. For some of my student getting A was important, whereas for other some learning a new topic, and embracing some of the curriculum was essential. However, my priority has been doing my best to improve math knowledge of every single student of mine despite what and how they know about math.
