Nashotah House Theological Seminary (Master's)
I have 3 degrees (Master's, Bachelor's & Associate's), and was an honor student all the way through my higher education. I am especially adept in English, writing, reading, grammar, math (though I do not tutor calculus or higher), history and theology.
I have teaching experience, two full years at the middle school level, and another year spent substitute teaching mostly at the high school level. Also, I have 5 school age children, all of whom we home-schooled for the first several years of their education, so education has always been important in our home.
My primary vocation is the Priesthood, and it keeps me very busy, so between that and my family obligations I am not always available for tutoring. It just depends how busy my schedule is at a given time. I have 3 degrees (Master's, Bachelor's & Associate's), and was an honor student all the way through my higher education. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I am an ordained Priest with a Master's of Theological Studies. In addition to studying the Bible extensively, I have taught it in both churches and schools.
I am mostly self-taught on computers, only having had a couple of very basic required classes many years ago. But I am technologically inclined, so I adapt well to all the changes as they come. I relied heavily on computers both in school and in my years in business, when I used them both for my personal office work, and also as part of multi-media systems that I designed and provided for customers. I'm only comfortable tutoring on PCs though, unless it's very basic. I've used Mac computers plenty but not enough to consider myself proficient on them.
My undergraduate work was in Music, and I studied Music History extensively, not only the development of art music (commonly called "classical") over the centuries and various primary eras, but also modern genres such as jazz, blues and pop/rock music.
When I embarked upon a career of professional business to business sales, then even more so years later when I discerned a call and began training to enter the Priesthood, I had to completely overcome my former fear of public speaking. Now I speak in front of people regularly. I do not consider myself an "expert" on the academic side of public speaking, so if you are a professional seeking to take your skills to another level, I may or may not be able to be a great help to you. But if you are a student learning how to conquer public speaking, or possibly even to conquer a fear of such, then I would love to help you.
I am an ordained Priest and have a Master's of Theological Studies. In addition to teaching in churches, I also have taught Religion in a parochial school, as well as to home-schooled children.
I have three degrees: Master's, Bachelor's and Associate's. In all three cases, I was an adult responsible for supporting myself, and with the last two I was married with children, so I had to develop and practice good study habits in order to succeed. As I did so with honors, I believe I can help others develop good skills as well.
