Hello! My name is Jonna Emily M., but you can call me Jemily! Someday I want to be a researcher on the Nautilus team! I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Zoology from Colorado State University in 2017, and am currently a graduate student pursuing a Masters in Applied Statistics. I want to help students because I've been there; I know what it's like to be a student and need help and not get it. I understand how frustrating it can be.

I tutor primarily sciences and math, but I am always working to add more to my repertoire! Biological sciences are my favorite, in case you couldn't tell! I would describe my tutoring style as relaxed and conversational. I have a lot of different interests outside of academia, including but not limited to video games, sailing, nature, swordfighting, yarn arts, and music. I have been tutoring for over a year now (as of fall of 2020), and I particularly excel at helping students with their classes, though I also have expertise in test preparation.
I have had specific training from my previous job to tutor pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 and 2, pre-cal and calculus 1, geometry, ACT math and Science, and SAT math.
I am a zoology major and excel with most science classes. I also have had specific training from my previous job for biology and physics.
