To keep it brief, I've always thoroughly enjoyed Mathematics and Physics and so I earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from The University of Texas at Austin (Hook 'Em!) I started tutoring students at the tutoring center while I was an undergraduate at UT Austin and have been doing so ever since. I also taught at Southwest University for a few years which was equally satisfying as I got to teach college students (both adult learners and fresh recruits) a variety of subjects like math, writing, physics, business practices, and a few others. Regardless of where I am or what kind of job I currently have, I will always make time to tutor and teach nearby students since I absolutely enjoy it, and it has the added benefit of keeping my mind sharp and my skills honed.

Mathematics has a natural and cumulative progression that builds with each consecutive lesson. What this means is that to move forward in each particular area you must show mastery of each prior lesson. Considering that I am equal parts student, teacher, and mentor, the scope of understanding and experience I possess allow me to outline a unique and customized method of approach for my students. There are many ways to learn something, and I know how to identify what methods work best for each particular student (once I can assess them), and then I am able to reinforce said methods so that content knowledge is retained.

If there is one subject above all others that students constantly struggle with, then that would be Mathematics (all levels). I'm certain that my thousands of hours of tutoring experience and years of teaching have provided me with an endless arsenal of techniques and content knowledge that I can use to help you achieve your educational goals. Let me show you that you are indeed capable of mastering the subject.

Some more about me: I have 3 dogs (2 large and 1 medium) who were all rescues and I wouldn't trade them for anything. In my spare time, I keep myself constantly learning whether

Algebra 2,

Algebra 2

I've been tutoring/teaching mathematics for more than a decade which includes basic mathematics, geometry, algebra 1, algebra 2, trigonometry, precalculus, calculus and a few more advanced college level courses like linear algebra, differential equations, statistics, and probability. I have also worked at Southwest University where I taught college algebra.
Calculus,

Calculus

I started out as a Physics major in college, but decided to double major in Mathematics. Since I focused on Pure Mathematics, theory was the focus, so tutoring and teaching Calculus became second nature as my understanding of each math subject deepened. I've been and continue to tutor all levels of Mathematics, so I've accumulated thousands of hours.

Breaks it down and gives easier paths to somutions

I got off to a bad start in college algebra and was very frustrated. Jeffrey made everything simple and understandable. He gave me the confidence I need to succeed.

Patient, kind and respectful

As schools shut down, Jeffery has really been attentive to what my child needs. His main goal is to help her get ahead with the rest of her peers since she is a bit behind. He is so patient with her no matter how is acting.

Fantastic

I feel I am learning with Jeffrey as my tutor. He is excellent! I understand him and the things he tries to show me. He makes it easy when we all know that calculus is not easy. He takes his time and is patient.
