Bio

I graduated from Hanks High School, and shortly after, I started to work at the YWCA after-school program. During my stay with the YWCA, I discovered I enjoyed working with children so I decided to pursue a bachelors under the education program. I graduated from Hanks High School, and shortly after, I started to work at the YWCA after-school program. During my stay with the YWCA, I discovered I enjoyed working with children so I decided to pursue a bachelors under the education program. While working at the YWCA, it helped me developed crucial skills when working and dealing with children. My time at the YWCA was a great experience, because it paved the way to my teaching career.

After I graduated from UTEP, I decided to teach abroad, and South Korea was going to be my destination. I got hired in South Korea as a English teacher. My responsibilities and duties ranged from- creating lesson plans, administrating daily assessments and expressions, monitoring my students progress and work , and fulfilling my role as a teacher and role model. I taught in Korea for 1 year and half, before my contract ended and I was forced to come back.

My strengths are helping ESL students, because working in Korea helped me honed these particular skills to aid my ESL students. If hired, I will always give it my 100% effort because children are out future and I want to see them succeed.
