Bio

I am a tutor who is very patient with Middle School children. I Don't drive, and I can take the bus to get to my destination. Also, in addition, this is no problem for me. THIS I have also been a Substitute Teacher for the El Paso Independent School District here in El Paso Texas.

Grades I have mainly taught are 6 thru 8. At times I did teach Elementary School (grades K thru 5) . To be honest, Middle School was my favorite, grades (6 thru 8).
The students enjoyed having me as a "Substitute Teacher because I was patient and "cool".
Specific courses I have taken are Algebra I, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus and some statistics. In addition, computer courses which are : BASIC, Fortran IV, and some COBOL.
But, I have really enjoyed teaching middle school most of all. My students have told me that I am very fast doing calculations in my head without the use of a
calculator and I have memorized some formulas from a few of the disciplines.
I wish to be given a chance to prove myself with fellow students.

Thank you,
Oscar A.

Computer Programming

My Programming qualifications were learned while attending my college and University. The programming languages which I had to learn are: Basic, Fortran, and Cobol at this particular time. I had to take a year of each language and some computer math courses, and courses on how to translate given problems and formulas for the computer to run the various programs
Computer Science,

Computer Science

I have completed both lower level and some higher level computer courses and work. I was a computer tutor in computer languages such as: Basic, Fortran . and COBOL. I was working at my University here, helping students with their programming in their respective computer language. At this time, the old "punch-card" IBM machines were used and PC computers were just making their way in. I also helped students in this respect. and this was all done at my University.
Visual Basic,

Visual Basic

BASIC (Beginners All Purpose Instructional Computer), is the first ideal language for a person to start to learn to program. One has to learn to "Translate" formulas whether it be mathematical or a Business type of formula. The formulas can be simple to complex. Even instructing the computer to repeat itself; for example, a "DO-LOOP" telling the computer to repeat a specific instruction X number of times. My qualifications are college, and a few higher level computer languages. It can also be fun and frustrating at the same time.
