I love science. I have 15+ years of teaching experience students ranging from elementary age to undergraduate college students. I hold a B.S. and PhD in Animal Science and have experience working with a variety of biological systems (physiology, anatomy, nutrition, chemistry, genetics). I have taught undergraduate level courses and labs at Texas Tech University and director/ instructor of a youth STEM class. I am a problem solver and enjoy helping my students succeed.

My collaborative studies with zoological societies worldwide have enabled me to ultrasound southern white rhinos, shadow the San Diego Zoo reproductive physiology lab, cryopreserve genetic material of exotic species and directly contribute to the conservation of endangered species. I am the co-owner of an exotic game ranch and responsible for the diet, breeding program and management of axis deer and black buck antelope. I have experience working with biologist at the Junction Campus at Texas Tech University studying herpetology, bats and birds as a scholar in the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. I have published scientific data which is translational to evaluate embryo quality of mammalian species and presented this data at scientific animal conventions worldwide.

Well prepared and knew exactly what I needed!

I was turned down by several tutors as they said they didn't have the knowledge in animal genetics to help me with my assignments. Cara knew exactly what I needed to complete my assignments. She explained things well, led me through the assignments in a clear way, and gave me the information I needed to be able to complete my assignments on my own.
