About Taylor

Howdy! I'm a bearded, coffee-roasting math and science guru from Denton, TX. I graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Because I enjoyed learning how things work, the coursework I took helped me to deepen my understanding of the world around me. After being in the power industry, I realized that my true passion is for education. I have 3 years teaching high school physics in Keller ISD.

Choosing to become a math tutor was a life changer. I was able to work in a school while gaining my teaching certifications. On the side, I was able to tutor university students in physics/math. The year afterwards, I became a Physics teacher at a high school.

I am certified in the state of Texas to teach math and science. In addition, I have experience as a math tutor at a high school and math tutoring for college students.

Not only am I certified in the state of Texas to teach these subjects, I also went to college for Electrical Engineering. Physics (especially AP Physics) is what I am passionate about.

Please contact me if you have questions or would like to set up a tutoring time. I look forward to speaking with you.

If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
