Good Afternoon from Denton!
My name is Mike V. and I am a senior at the University of North Texas studying East Asian Studies (a branch under the International Studies Department) and minoring in Japanese. I am currently preparing to return to Japan in August to study at Kansai Gaidai University to perfect my Japanese skills. As a result, I feel that tutoring would be a good way to expand my skills even more to prepare for my chance of a lifetime.
My current qualifications in Japanese at the University of North Texas are as followed...
JAPN 1010 - Elementary Japanese I A
JAPN 1020 - Elementary Japanese II A
JAPN 2040-2050 - "Step into Japan" Study Abroad - Intermediate Japanese I and II A
JAPN 3020 - Advanced Japanese I B
JAPN 3030 - Advanced Japanese II In Progress
GPA in Japanese 3.875
I charge $20 per hour, or more if you want specialized services.
I have been known at the University of North Texas to be one of the best tutors who doesn't get enough publicity (unfortunately for me, North Texas offers free tutors for all subjects, which I have done for a while).

I look forward to meeting you. Good Afternoon from Denton!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
