Bio

I got my PhD and Master's degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2020 and 2017, respectively. The focus of my studies has been probability, statistics, and stochastic processes with applications in Machine Learning, Reinforcement Learning, Online Learning, Game Theory, Queueing Theory, and Personalized E-Learning.

Thorough and amazing tutor

Ali has tutored me in linear algebra and proofs & analysis, and he has been a huge help! We've worked through homework problems and he explained new concepts really well. As a math major, I would definitely recommend him and I plan on having more sessions with him when I need help.
