Hi, my name's Dom and I currently tutor math at all high school levels (including AP Calculus & Statistics), although I'm totally open to any requests for lower levels of math instruction as well.

Hi, my name's Dom and I currently tutor math at all high school levels (including AP Calculus & Statistics), although I'm totally open to any requests for lower levels of math instruction as well.
Having recently been through both the enjoyment and difficulty of college mathematics, I feel very familiar with receiving approachable instruction outside the classroom, as well as instruction that is overly difficult and fails to bridge any of the gaps in a student's understanding.
I will prioritize explaining the frameworks of the mathematical concepts and problem-solving tools being taught by their instructor as straightforwardly as possible. I understand that one of most important parts of tutoring is providing a clearer look at the methodology, and not just being able to give the precise answer to a given question.
If you're struggling with your assigned material, or would simply like to improve your scores in math as much as possible, I can absolutely be of assistance. I prefer in person tutoring, whether at a student's home or an accessible library / coffee shop that they choose, but I'm also open to online sessions.
I've graduated with a Bachelor's in Applied Mathematics, and have prior experience providing tutoring to students at my local community college. In my college years, I was engaged in outside math pursuits as well, including attempting and passing Actuary Exam P on probability.
