I am a former, 9 year veteran high school math teacher with experience in all subjects of HS mathematics up to Calculus AB/BC. I have extensive knowledge of mathematics ranging from Algebra concepts to Calculus and have training and experience with the ACT and SAT Mathematics Exams. I am a former, 9 year veteran high school math teacher with experience in all subjects of HS mathematics up to Calculus AB/BC. I have extensive knowledge of mathematics ranging from Algebra concepts to Calculus and have training and experience with the ACT and SAT Mathematics Exams. My teaching philosophy is that anyone can learn mathematics with enough patience, effort, and determination. I am here to help students learn and improve their math skills and will push you to do better because I know you can.

I previously managed an after school program preparing students for ACT and SAT mathematics, have taught Honors Algebra 2 and Honors Precalculus, and am currently an Implementation Coordinator for OnRamps College Algebra at The University of Texas, Austin.

Outstanding

Miguel is truly an outstanding tutor. I was really nervous at first because I hadn't been in school for a couple of years. However, Miguel's friendly demeanor made all the difference. He had a way of presenting the math problems that made them easy to understand. I've had some tough experiences with other tutors in the past that nearly caused me to give up on my studies altogether.
