I received a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the wonderful Mercer University in Macon, GA and continued on to receive my PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from University of Florida in December 2016. Now that I've finished school and have begun to advance in my career, I'd love to have the opportunity to help other students in the community reach their full academic potential.

Now that I've finished school and have begun to advance in my career, I'd love to have the opportunity to help other students in the community reach their full academic potential.

I have previous experience tutoring reading, writing, and math for the kindergarten level through the fourth grade. I also worked as an instructor for a summer science class for high school students in which I was responsible for designing the course syllabus, giving lectures, and assigning homework. My specialty has always been helping students on a one-on-one basis so that I can tailor the lesson according to the student's specific needs. Everyone learns different, and my goal is to find the learning style that is best suited for the individual.

I love chemistry, and I am passionate about helping others tackle this sometimes challenging subject. My bachelor's degree in chemistry and my PhD in engineering have given me an in depth understanding for the subject, including plenty of practical hands-on training. I have experience teaching science to high school students as a summer program instructor and I also have experience working as a teaching assistant in graduate school.
