I have always had a lifelong passion for learning, and was one of the best students of my class in school. In college, I studied Education and realized the dream of becoming a teacher and coach. I possess two Master's Degrees, in Business and Education. I have been a tutor in the Dallas area for at least fifteen years and would love the opportunity to instill the passion for learning in you. I hope to get started with you soon, and get you ahead of the game!
Math was always one of my strongest subjects in school, and as a freshman in college I tutored my classmates. I then tutored it at Richland College as well. I consider math one of the world's common languages since it doesn't change from country to country.
I speak five languages and studied a total of seven. In high school, my best subject was Latin, and I also took it in college. I have a Texas Teacher Certificate in Spanish, but that language would never have been as easy for me to learn did I not have Latin as my base.
I have lived on two continents, and am fascinated by maps, whether historic or new. I usually couple history with geography, so expect a lively discussion during our tutoring session!
I have played on the professional circuit, and have been a successful Texas High School coach. In the Dallas area, I have also been head pro of several clubs.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
