University of North Texas (Mathematics)
Hello! My name is Banner. I am currently an undergraduate at the University of North Texas in Denton. I am majoring in mathematics while working to receive my secondary teaching certification for my minor. I really enjoy teaching others about mathematics and I aspire to inspire my students to appreciate the subject.
Before beginning my official college career, I attended an early college program, which allowed me to obtain an associate's degree in the general sciences at the same time I received my high school diploma. Being part of the early college program allowed me to become college level math ready at the age of sixteen. I have enjoyed studying mathematics ever since. Moreover, I have taught lessons for elementary, middle, and high school level classes. I have also worked as an online tutor as well as assisted in teaching a couple of college developmental level math courses.
Please contact me if you feel as though I am the right tutor for you and would like to schedule a lesson! Hello! My name is Banner. My son was struggling with math and it has been very discouraging for him. On the first visit with Banner, he was receptive to all the feedback that was given to him. My son says he's very patient and smart! Banner also pointed out on the first why he has been struggling. I look forward to seeing the growth in my son!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
