About Anthony

Bio

I am a former high school math teacher that relocated to the Dallas area for a Ph.D. program in education research. I am also attending school for my masters in statistics. Tutoring is fun because it allows me to obtain an individual understanding of how students learn. I like to make math relevant but also make connections between non-mathematical content.

What can you expect: Friendly and knowledgeable help regarding your specific needs. If the way you are being taught doesn't work for you, we try something different. Math is difficult and it is my job to break it down and make it more comprehensible. Spanish and Psychology are no different! I'm here to help there as well!

Excellent tutor

Anthony is very patient and is really good at describing the technical part of the problem but then using simple examples to work through the problems with you.

He came through very quickly!

I had a test that I would've failed if I hadn't had his help. He responded to my messages quickly and was very accommodating. I, of course, waiting until the last minute to ask for help and he really came through, in spite of the time crunch.

Eric, 1 lesson with Anthony

Patient and funny and very smart clearly

He taught me about sin and cosin graphing, in particular creating an equation based off of the graph already given to me. He expressed new techniques to me, not given by my teacher.

Liz, 2 lessons with Anthony

Very good

He is a ton of help with algebra and is very nice. He makes learning easier even with the subject that may be the toughest for you. Overall great guy and very knowledgeable with all different types of math.

Thanks Anthony

Anthony worked well with both my 3rd grader and my 10th grader on math. He was able to speak to both kids on their different levels easily. Our kids enjoyed working with Anthony. We look forward to continued sessions and building on confidence and skills in math!

Great tutor

Anthony was a godsend after having a not so good experience with another tutor. My son likes the way Anthony explains the content and is able to get much more out of his lessons with Anthony than his current teacher.
