My experience as a pre-k and kindergarten teacher has developed me with a passion and personal commitment to three things, fostering a positive learning environment for every student, maximizing individual student performance, and developing student interest in learning.
In my most recent position as a pre-k and kindergarten teacher, I have developed highly effective lesson plans, motivational exercises and effective assessments that promoted interest and knowledge retention. I have also been highly successful in helping children with special needs succeed both academically and socially in their classroom
I begin teaching grammar and reading by making sure my students know their letters by both sight and the letter sounds. I also like to make sure that my students are able to implement other words that begin with a particular letter.
I assess my students so that I know where they are academically and then I construct my lessons around their assessment.
I have experience in teaching young children to reach their highest potential. I have patience and I consider myself an understanding individual.
I teach my students in the areas that they are struggling in by doing a assessment so that I know and understand where their weaknesses and their strengths are.
I am available to tutor on Monday, Thursday, and Friday evenings, I am also available on Saturdays and Sunday afternoons after church. I can be reached WyzAnt to schedule a time you would like me to tutor. My experience as a pre-k and kindergarten teacher has developed me with a passion and personal commitment to three things, fostering a positive learning environment for every student, maximizing individual student performance, and developing student interest in learning.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
