About Hideko

I am a native Japanese tutor who also speaks English fluently.

I was born and raised in Kyoto, Japan, where I attended Japanese schools. After graduating high school, I came to the United States for college. While attending college, I graduated from University of Washington with a degree in Economics. After graduating from college, I worked as a translator/interpreter for Japanese Corporation in United States for several years.

I have been providing private Japanese lessons in Dallas, TX for two years. Learning new language should be fun and exciting, not overwhelming and boring. I provide each student with personalized lesson, depends on their interest and levels of learning, to make learning Japanese as much fun and efficient as possible.

My students range from absolute beginners to advanced, from high school students to adults. Either you want to learn Japanese for fun or to communicate with Japanese people in business occasions, I can help you with it!
