I’m a professional educator with over 15 years of experience teaching students from ages 5 to adult in both one-on-one and classroom settings. I hold a B.A. in Theatre Performance and have completed advanced studies in voice pedagogy, piano technique, and writing instruction. I’m also a certified Orton-Gillingham literacy educator and executive function coach, which means I’m equipped to support students with learning differences in building strong reading, writing, and study skills.

My teaching experience spans a wide range of subjects. I’ve taught standardized test prep (SAT, ACT, GRE, MAP, TOEFL) to middle school through college-aged students both in the U.S. and internationally. I develop my own targeted strategies and personalized study plans based on students' score goals, learning styles, and content gaps. I’ve also taught ESL for over 10 years, supporting both children and adults in grammar, conversation, pronunciation, and academic writing.

In addition to academic tutoring, I work professionally as a voice, piano, and theatre instructor. I train beginners through advanced performers in technique, musicianship, and creative expression, drawing from conservatory-style methods and real-world performance experience. I also teach German, Spanish, Latin, and Italian at the beginner and intermediate levels, often incorporating music, culture, and etymology into my language lessons. My goal is to empower every student—whether preparing for college, developing their artistry, or learning a new language—to thrive with confidence.

I have over 20 years of acting experience across theatre, film, and voice performance, with more than a decade spent teaching students ages 6 to adult. I’ve directed school plays, led drama workshops, and coached students in monologue delivery, audition prep, character development, and improvisation. My teaching blends classical acting techniques with confidence-building, helping students connect emotionally to their roles while refining their stagecraft. Whether you're a beginner or preparing for an audition, I create a supportive and challenging space to grow as a performer.

Bible Studies

With over a decade of experience in Bible study instruction and youth ministry leadership, I’ve taught Confirmation classes, led small group theological discussions, and developed Scripture-based curricula for middle school through college-age learners. My graduate theological training and experience facilitating faith conversations equip me to engage students with both reverence and relevance. I specialize in helping young people connect deeply with biblical texts, understand theological principles, and grow in their spiritual walk through guided discussion and reflective application.

I have taught music composition to students ranging from early beginners to advanced performers, integrating fundamentals like melody, harmony, and form into accessible creative exercises. My teaching blends classical theory, improvisation, and songwriting techniques, and is grounded in my background as both a pianist and vocalist. I have over 15 years of experience teaching creative writing to students ranging from elementary through adult learners, both in-person and online. I hold a B.A. in English and have worked as a curriculum writer for education platforms focused on reading, writing, and storytelling.
