I'm Jenny! I'm currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience at the University of Texas at Austin and graduated in the top 6% of my class from Highland Park High School (Class of 2024). I have a strong academic foundation. I earned a 1550 on the SAT, scored in the top 1% nationwide on the PSAT, and was recognized as a National Merit Scholarship Finalist. I am also an AP Scholar with Distinction, having received the highest score of 5 on all 13 Advanced Placement (AP) exams I took. My strongest subject area is English, including everything from reading comprehension, essay writing, literature analysis, and personal or academic composition. I have also received multiple Scholastic Writing Awards for creative writing.

I have two years of experience volunteering as an English tutor for global English language learners, where I worked with a wide range of age groups, from elementary students to senior adults. I take a flexible, student-focused approach to tutoring, adapting my methods to match each learner’s individual needs and strengths.

Whether you're preparing for the SAT, crafting a personal statement, or looking to strengthen your reading and writing skills, I’m here to help you build confidence and achieve your goals. Feel free to contact me with any questions or to schedule a lesson!

ESL/ESOL

I have two years of experience volunteering as an English tutor for global ESL (English as a Second Language) learners. During that time, I worked with a diverse range of students, including elementary school children, high schoolers, middle-aged adults, and senior learners. I adapted my teaching methods to each individual's language level and learning style, focusing on building confidence in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension. I use a fully immersive teaching style, conducting lessons entirely in English to help students think and communicate naturally in the language, while still offering patient, clear guidance tailored to their needs.
