“**Knowledgeable and patient tutor.**”

As a son of a school teacher and a chemical engineer, I know the importance of getting the fundamentals of algebra, trigonometry, calculus and other math concepts which lay the foundation for the future advancement. I have 3 years of experience tutoring algebra, Finite Math, differential equations, calculus, probability, statistics and

Chandrasekhar is very knowledgeable, patient, organized, detailed, and very helpful. He is tutoring me in statistics. I have no clue what I am doing and each time I have to submit assignments and take a quiz I am in tears, because I am afraid of failing this class. I have been on the Dean's list the entire 2 years I have been in school and I do not want statistics to negatively impact my Dean's status; therefore I searched online and prayed for a tutor that was knowledgeable in statistics and came across Chandrasekhar profile and believed he would be the one to assist me in attaining my Dean's status. I tutored with him for the first time on Saturday and I was impressed with his knowledge and will continue to tutor with him, until I complete this class. I feel blessed and very thankful he took the time to assist me and answered all of my questions to ensure I pass this class with an "A" or "B". If you are struggling with statistics I recommend signing up with Chandrasekhar to assist you in succeeding. You will not be sorry! I feel very relieved and THANKFUL!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR KNOWLEDGE AND TIME!

Thank you. I am glad that the class on Saturday was helpful.

We had a great first session. My son said that he explained things so much better than the teacher, much easier for him to solve the problems. Looking forward to another session.

Once again, Chandrasekhar really knows his stuff. Not only does he want to make sure you get the correct answers but he wants to also make sure you find the best practice to find the answer.

Mr. Chandra helped me with my college algebra course, I went from having a C to a high B. He goes step by step when solving a problem which really helped me understand. He is very patient and professional. I would highly recommend him if you struggle in math like I do.

We reviewed one variable calculus and specifically the theory behind limits and derivatives. Chandra was very patient with me as I have not looked at calculus and algebra in a long time. It was clear that Chandra knew how to do the problems, the challenge was breaking it down and helping me to remember and understand.

Overall I was satisfied and will be using Chandra again in the future.

Worked on my college algebra class. Provided thorough explanation and step by step review of material. Very relaxed, adaptive to my learning pace. He prepeares notes during study which I find very helpful. Accommodating to my schedule. Overall a wonderful tutor.

Helped me with Test Review and give him a day or 2 to look over your stuff and he will do it! Huge help and really helping me understand

Mr. Chandra helped me with my online statistics course. He clearly has a great deal of knowledge in this area because I made an A in this class and passed all of my exams!! I could not have done it without his help!! I am so thankful that he was available to meet on my schedule and answer ALL of my questions! I'm one happy senior!! Thanks

Approved subjects are in **bold**.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Actuarial Science is a discipline that applies mathematics and statistical methods to assess the risk. It includes number of interrelated subjects, including mathematics, probability theory, statistics, finance, economics and computer science. As my profile indicates, I have completed my Bachelor's (1999) and Master’s (2002) degree in Chemical Engineering where I have successfully completed my math and computer science courses (specific to Actuarial science – Mathematics in my first 3 years of my undergraduate degree, Computer Programming in the first year of my undergraduate degree and Introduction to Data Structures and Software Design, Database Management System and Cryptography and Data Security in my graduate program). Apart from these I have also taken Safety and Risk Engineering and Reliability Engineering at Memorial University for my part time PhD program which I am currently pursuing at Memorial University in Canada. These 2 courses cover all the statistical methods and probability theory to determine the risk. Also, I have been working in the Oil industry as a Chemical/Corrosion and Integrity Engineer for the past 12 years using statistical and probability of failure techniques to determine the risk of a pipelines and offshore subsea components.

Chemical Engineering is a branch of engineering that applies physical sciences and life sciences together with applied mathematics and economics to produce, transform, transport, and properly use chemicals, materials and energy. As my profile indicates, I have completed my Bachelor's (1999) and Master’s (2002) degree in Chemical Engineering. Also, I am currently pursuing my part time PhD in Process Engineering at Memorial University, NL, Canada where I have completed my course work and working on my thesis at this time. As a Chemical Engineering student, I have completed all my basic courses as well as my core courses that include Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Mass Transfer, Material and Energy Balances, Chemical Reaction Engineering, Advanced Thermodynamics, Transport Phenomena, Biochemical Engineering, Process Engineering Economics and Management, Process Optimization, Polymer Engineering and Advanced Corrosion Engineering. I am a registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) and Chartered Engineer (C.Eng.) in Canada and United Kingdom. Therefore, I am qualified to tutor in this specific subject.

Differential Equations represents functions, derivatives and equations. These play a prominent role in all the disciplines of engineering. As my profile indicates, I have completed my Bachelor's (1999) and Master’s (2002) degree in Chemical Engineering where I have successfully completed my core courses of my undergraduate Chemical Engineering degree like Mass Transfer, Heat Transfer, Transport Phenomena where most of the applications uses ordinary differential equations to partial, linear and non-linear differential equations. All my courses that I have done in my Master’s program pretty much used differential equations. I worked in the Oil industry for the past 12 years where I worked as a corrosion engineer and flow assurance engineer where differential equations are applied to determine corrosion rates and determine different flow regimes in the pipelines and flowlines. Finally, I have successfully completed and passed my math subject tests in WyzAnt where the subjects are either pre requisites or uses some form where differential equations are used. Therefore, I am qualified to tutor in this specific subject.

Finite math is basically mathematical analysis techniques that are used in the working world in organizing information and then analyzing the data. The topics include from matrix algebra all the way to statistics and probability. As my profile indicates, I have completed my Bachelor's (1999) and Master’s (2002) degree in Chemical Engineering where I have successfully completed my math courses (specific to Finite Math – Applied Mathematics in Chemical Engineering 3rd year of my undergraduate degree). Also, I have been working in the Oil industry as a Chemical/Corrosion and Integrity Engineer for the past 12 years using Finite Math techniques to organize and analyze my field corrosion/chemical data and trained young engineers. Also, I have successfully completed the other math topics in WyzAnt where finite math concepts are applied. Therefore, I am qualified to tutor in this specific subject.

Organic Chemistry is a chemistry that involves study of structure, properties and reactions of organic compounds and organic materials. As my profile indicates, I have completed my Bachelor's (1999) and Master’s (2002) degree in Chemical Engineering where I have successfully completed my Organic chemistry and its related courses (Organic Chemistry in 2nd year, Organic Chemical Technology in 3rd year and biochemical engineering in the final year of my undergraduate and Polymer Chemistry in my graduate program at Tennessee Technological University which I later transferred the grades to University of Lafayette, Louisiana). Apart from this, I am also a NACE certified Chemical Treatment Specialist. I worked in the Oil industry for the past 12 years where I worked with Organic chemicals like corrosion inhibitors which are used in pipeline and other offshore equipment to prevent corrosion. Finally, I have successfully completed the Chemistry exam in WyzAnt where organic chemistry concepts are tested as well. Therefore, I am qualified to tutor in this specific subject.
