Teaching is my passion, I have been a teacher for over 18 years, and I still communicate with students I had long long ago. I speak English, Spanish and French. The best part of teaching a language is seeing your students succeed, giving them the tools to keep improving their language proficiency and to have confidence in their own skills. To see them keep up with their learning process even after the classes are over. Many people are afraid of making mistakes, but my students have freedom to learn from them and to take advantage of them to conquer their own fears in the learning process.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Teaching Languages and a Master's degree in teaching English as a Foreign language, which gives me the experience and knowledge to teach Spanish and French as foreign languages too. I have taught languages to a wide variety of population, kids, teenagers, business people and even people who are already retired and plan on doing something new.
My teaching style adjusts to the students' learning style and needs, so the results can be quickly appreciated. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

As a Languages teacher I have extensive experience teaching ESL /ESOL and specifically the pronunciation and phonic system of the english language, through this area students also learn reading strategies, accent management or reduction, reading and listening comprehension.
The strategies I use to helo students improve are based on linguistic studies and on the performance the student has in his/her mother tongue. Improving is just a matter of understanding.
