After substituting for a year, I accepted a position at a Middle School in 2015. I am a Historian who specializes in American and European history but I am fully certified to teach any field that falls under the Social Studies umbrella. I am very passionate about what I teach and it is a thrill for me to watch my students learn and grow. For me, nothing compares to the feeling I get when I see a student's eyes light up as he or she suddenly understands or realizes something.

I am fully certified to teach Generalist 4-8 and Science 4-8. I am fully certified to teach Social Studies at all grade levels and I have experience as a Middle School U.S. History teacher. Furthermore, I am a graduate student at University who is working towards a Master's degree in Public History (a degree I intend to finish by the end of 2016).

I am very flexible with hours and other arrangements.
