I have so much experience in the working world (print and digital media) that I have a great deal of knowledge to share.

I am a beginner as a tutor, but I am convinced that I would adapt to it quickly. In addition to elementary math, I am also well-versed in English and have much mastery to share in that discipline.

I have caught many simple math errors as a copy editor for newspapers. I know the basics quite well and have worked as a statistician (part-time while in graduate school).

I was with the Fort Worth Star-Telegram for nearly 18 years. For more than three years I was the primary nighttime poster for star-telegram.com. This Internet experience sets me apart from other copy editors. I also have about three years of textbook publishing experience. I have also been a reporter, photographer and page designer, so I have done virtually everything that one can do in print journalism. As for leadership roles, I worked regularly in the slot, in charge of the copy desk, at the Star-Telegram and for Journal Media Group/Scripps Newspapers and for over two years was assistant city editor of the Temple Daily Telegram.

I believe that given my experience, I would be adaptable to almost any job. I look forward to hearing from you.
