I was awarded Teacher of the Year and I was nominated for a national teaching award. In addition, I have experience teaching elementary and middle school writing and math.
I have taken numerous professional development courses in teaching Common Core Math and I have 10 years of teaching elementary/middle school math and math interventions.
I have my Master’s Degree in Reading Education and I am extremely passionate about teaching students with reading disabilities.
I have 10 years experience of teaching students with special needs. My undergraduate major was in special education and I have taken numerous professional development courses for varying exceptionalities. Additionally, I was a former special coordinator and I worked with psychologists, admission representative, speech and language pathologists, and special education admission representatives to staff students into special education programming.
