I'm Lilian, nice to meet you! In terms of my background, I received my B.S. in Biomedical Engineering in 2018 and have worked as a tutor, medical scribe, research tech, and process engineer in the past. I’m more than happy to chat about any of these if you or your child is looking for advice.

I have extensive experience (10+ years) in private tutoring and have worked with a range of ages, from elementary to graduate school, in a variety of topics such as:

- Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology
- K-6 Math, Prealgebra, Algebra I/2, and Precalculus
- SAT, ACT, GRE, MCAT, and USMLE/COMAT shelf exams
- Admissions advising with application review
- Essay brainstorming and editing

My current focuses are test prep (SAT, ACT, GRE, etc.), admissions advising, and essay editing! I have a strong track record of academic excellence and am confident that I have the expertise to improve your scores and make tough topics easier to understand.

I’m available for both short- and longer-term partnerships. If there are specific assignments or materials that you’d like to go over, it would be helpful for me to have those in advance so that we can make the most of our time together. For me, there is no such thing as a “dumb question” – it’s much better to address areas of uncertainty in our session rather than being confused or unprepared during the real deal. I have a curriculum based on the ETS content blueprint but can tailor a curriculum specific to you based on any areas of improvement that you've already identified! To give you an idea of my approach to helping you, I've included details below: For the Quantitative section, I have four sets of practice problems to ensure a strong foundation in arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and data analysis that you'll encounter on the GRE. For the Verbal Reasoning section, I have three sets of reading drills to help you identify question patterns and get used to the way the test-writers evaluate your reading comprehension. For the Analytical Writing section, we'll work together to build examples that you can apply to any essay prompt that you'll see on test day. After we set a strong foundation, we'll start working through practice passages and practice essays. I also have practice exams that I can provide to assess your growth over time.

I will be graduating in May 2025 and know that one of my passions lies in medical education.
