About Angel


Bio

I am a PhD candidate in my last year at Texas A&M, where I also got my MSc, both in Mechanical Engineering. My field of study is Continuum Mechanics; thus, math is an important part of my life.

I have been a Teaching Assistant in the Dynamics Systems and Controls class most of my PhD life, thus I have great teaching experience and easily get along with students.

I think that the best reward for a tutor is when a student lets you know that your methods have let them learn better than...

I think that the best reward for a tutor is when a student lets you know that your methods have let them learn better than anything else they tried before. I see myself as someone made for the academia, and I will look for that after I am done with my PhD.

All the students that I had at Texas A&M, in this more than 4 years, have been very grateful by the end of the semester and usually suggest opportunities for my improvement which I happily take. Thus, I think I have developed great strategies for making myself clear when trying to explain the most abstract subjects that one, as engineer, can get.

I can’t recommend him enough. I contacted Angel to help me with an assignment involving Ordinary Equations programming in MATLAB. He was incredibly kind, helpful, and thorough. Although I contacted him last minute, he was extremely accommodating. He was super quick to respond. Angel was prepared for our session and explained things in detail.
