Lubbock Christian University (English and Missions)
While completing my two undergraduate degrees, I worked at the tutoring office, helping my fellow students with their English and Bible courses. I enjoyed every minute minute of it and I did this for more than three years. I am very passionate about reading and writing and hope to share my passion with others.
I also understand how difficult reading and writing can be. When I was in first grade I was diagnosed with dyslexia, and I really struggled with my reading and writing skills throughout my elementary school years. However, I worked hard to overcome my disability and eventually grew to love reading and writing and to excel at it. I believe that this experience makes me a good tutor because I can relate to the students who are struggling. I hope to inspire students with my own experience and life story.
I received my Bachelors in English, studying grammar, composition, and literature. I have three years experience tutoring college students in Englsih and Bible. I excel at literary studies and writing skills.
If you are in need of help with English or Bible studies please contact me! I have a very flexible schedule and would love to help! In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
