I am a certified high school math teacher. I recently left the classroom and started private tutoring. I am fun and personable and I'm sure I'm the tutor for you. I can tutor any high school math subject but I specialize in Algebra I, II and Pre-Calculus. I can make math understandable to any student.

Teresa is a great tutor. She is patient, easy-to-understand, and encouraging. We are saving her contact information for future siblings. She really helped our daughter understand several Algebra 2 concepts and raised her grade in a most helpful way!
My daughter had a 38 in High School PreCalculus and was close to dropping the class. After 4 sessions with Teresa her grade improved to a 92. I would highly recommend Teresa. She is very patient and can make even difficult concepts easy to understand.
Teresa has been awesome in working with my son on Pre Calculus. Her demeanor is perfect and she is always prepared. She has been willing to go the extra mile when necessary by doing things like coming up with extra practice questions. Highly recommended.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
