Math is my favorite hobby!! My greatest passion is helping those who might not share my love for numbers to establish the fundamental groundwork needed to fulfill their success. Although you might not see a pocket protector on me, I am known around my crowd as the "mathematics geek." I studied at Texas A&M in applied Mathematics with a concentration in both Education and Statistics. However, my undergrad work had a minor in Kinesiology and English along with with my Mathematics major. Yes, at one point, I was talking Calculus 3, Non-Euclidean Geometry, Bowling and Children's Literature all at the same time. As you can see, I am diverse and see a well-rounded education as super significant!!

My expertise lies in the ability to teach more advanced topics in direct and straight-forward manner so they are understood and mastered more quickly.

I am a certified educator with 15+ years in the classroom and have completed 2500+ hours in one-on-one tutoring. Having taught elementary through graduate level classes, I have received hands-on training with Gifted and Talented as well as Advanced Placement and Pre-Advanced Placement in areas of Calculus, PreCalculus, Honors Geometry and Statistics.

Learning can be FUN!! Topics can be presented in relaxed but teachable environment that will focus on areas needed to build a strong foundation and allow student not only the ability to master the topic but to gain confidence. My outstanding people skills complement my ability to translate complicated math jargon into understandable and manageable concepts. With experience in Engineering Calculus, Pre-Calculus, Pre-AP Statistics, Honors Geometry and Gifted and Talented Secondary, you will find that my comprehensive knowledge and experience is second to none!
