I had the privilege of having great professors while at Texas A&M who influenced my love of not only learning, but teaching as well. While in college, I took many math based courses such as engineering physics, calculus, calculus II, calculus III, differential equations, mathematical economics, and more. I started tutoring Spanish, calculus, and economics in 2009 and I've been doing it ever since. In 2012, I became a tutor a math learning center, which helped me significantly to improve my tutoring skills and I continue to work with them to this day.
I work with students of all ages and as such, I teach anything from basic counting principles for the young ones to more advanced college courses as well. I love challenging students and seeing their confidence increase as a result. One of the most essential skills I bring to my tutoring is the ability to adapt to the specific student; I know that not everyone learns the exact same way, so I design my teaching lessons with regards to their learning ability, be it visual, auditory, or tactile. I strive to give the best of myself to students & be as available as possible for them.
