I recently graduated from the University of Texas at Brownsville with a Master's degree in Biology. My graduate thesis was in the field of neuroscience. As an undergraduate I also participated as a research assistant in neurobiology. I absolutely love learning, which is why I am still planning to continue my education to obtain a PhD. I am currently obtaining my teaching certification for science 7-12. have mostly tutored in writing because I love to help people get their ideas across on paper.

Because my science degrees have focused more on research rather than teaching, there has been a great deal of writing involved. The most recent, of course, is the completion of my master's thesis. Through grad school, there is a lot of writing assignments. These have helped me tweak my skills along with being the student revising-editor for grants and other forms of proposals in my graduate research lab.

I love learning and sharing my knowledge. When tutoring, I like to teach with a fun fact approach. And as my Calc II professor used to say, "Time flies when you're having fun!" I can assure you, learning will be fun with me.
