It was in my first year of college when I realized that teaching is something I love to do. Guiding others to success in mathematics and science has been an experience like no other. I currently tutor part-time at a community college. I average around 20 students per week in the subjects I have listed on my profile. There are two things I love about teaching others. It was in my first year of college when I realized that teaching is something I love to do. Guiding others to success in mathematics and science has been an experience like no other. I currently tutor part-time at a community college. I average around 20 students per week in the subjects I have listed on my profile. There are two things I love about teaching others. The first one is having to see the face of my students when they come back with a good grade. Secondly, learning the many ways that students learn has been the most rewarding thing in the world because it allows me to adapt and teach more efficiently.
My academic plan is in physics and mathematics. I hope to one day become a theoretical physicist and conduct research at a university or lab. I am interested in particle astrophysics. Currently, I am third year physics major at The University of Texas at Austin.
By adapting to students' way of learning, I am able to tutor efficiently because the lesson will be in a way that the student understands it. I never impose my own way of thinking or method of solving a problem. The lesson will always serve to help the student solve future problems on their own.
I am more than happy to be given this opportunity, and will go above and beyond to meet the student's expectations of a tutor. I hope that I get the opportunity to tutor you!
