Hi, I am Cindy! I graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science, with a background in Biological Sciences, Chemistry, and Computer Science. I am diligent at what I do. I earned a scholarship that paid for my entire undergraduate degree, and I also earned recognition from the Biological Sciences Department via the Biological Sciences Achievement Award. I also earned recognition via Dean's List and President's List. Additionally, I graduated high school as Top 8 of my graduating class.

While working part-time as a tutor, I am teaching myself how to program. My approach to tutoring is to tutor students one-on-one, without any judgment on how quickly a student understands the material. As a former student, I understand the concept of not raising my hand in class or even asking for help when it is needed. That is why I am here: I am here to show students how easy the subject can be once it is grasped. I am here to show that there are more than one method to teaching. I am here to help you understand the material.

I am qualified to do this because not only did I excel in school, I excelled in tutoring. During my high school and college years, I volunteered at non-profit organizations, mentoring and tutoring students from all grades. Additionally, I worked as a Teaching Assistant at my university's Chemistry department. As a TA, I taught recitations of approximately 25 students in General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry; I also tutored students when needed. If I can teach and tutor college students, I am capable of teaching elementary, middle, and high school students.

I love teaching and tutoring students because I like to see the growth. I like knowing that I made a difference in someone's life, for the better. Therefore, I am open to any suggestions from students and parents. I provide quick responses, and I am easy to reach. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.

Common Core, Elementary, Middle, High, College Algebra, Prealgebra, Trigonometry, Elementary Statistical Methods

I have taken the following Chemistry courses in college: General Chemistry I & II, Organic Chemistry I & II, Intro to Forensics, and Forensic Chemistry. I also taught General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry at my university's Chemistry Department.
