Hello! My name is Shreya and I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business. I am pursuing a BBA in MIS (Management Information Systems). As a recent high school graduate, I am familiar with the rigor and curriculum of high-school level statistics and related courses. My curriculum in college also closely adheres to a statistics and data science pathway, allowing me to constantly provide my students with up-to-date knowledge of the field.
I have experience tutoring students in high school and young adults. My approach to tutoring is to allow students to feel free to ask questions and make mistakes. This approach allows for students to dive beyond surface level memorization and actually comprehend the material. As an aspiring professor, I truly want my students to feel engaged and comfortable in their sessions. A tutoring session with me can be focused around homework, projects, general questions etc. I am also open to suggestions on how I can better adapt my style to fit my student's needs.
- 5 on the AP Statics Exam
- 4.0 college GPA
- Current college curriculum focusing on data science and statistics
