I am currently a second-year undergraduate student studying Chemical Engineering at UT Austin. Throughout high school and college, I was always heavily interested in STEM fields, particularly in math and chemistry. In high school, I achieved a 4.0 unweighted GPA and have received a 5 on nine STEM-related AP tests, including Chemistry and Calculus BC. At UT I currently have a 4.0 GPA and have taken both General and Organic Chemistry.

I have tutored my peers in high school as a part of my school's Math and Science teams, and I have tutored elementary school students as part of a local tutoring group. To me, the most rewarding parts of tutoring are seeing the students' "aha!" moment and the successes that follow. I like to break down complicated topics into simple and concise explanations, and I will always make sure to help the student to understand "how?" and "why?". Above all, I will always provide a friendly and inviting environment to nurture academic growth and success.
I have always excelled in math, both in school courses and in competitions. I have earned A's in all of my math classes, received a 5 on the AP Calculus BC exam, and have won state math competitions. In high school, I tutored my peers through the school Math team, and both their grades and competition scores improved. I have also taken Calculus 2 at UT recently. I have a deep understanding of both algebra and calculus.
I have taken 3 years of chemistry in high school and 2 semesters of chemistry in college, covering topics in both General and Organic Chemistry. I also received a 5 on the AP Chemistry exam and received Honors on the US National Chemistry Olympiad. I have a firm grasp of the material in such a widely-encompassing subject. I am able to take complicated and confusing chemistry topics and break them down into fundamentals to help the student gain a better understanding of any topic.
I am flexible, patient, and eager to teach because I wish to help students develop a deeper understanding of math and chemistry and foster a
